Menstrual Musings

This blog is a place to share what I've discovered on my journey to learn as much as I can about the menstrual cycle, which is an ever growing passion of mine. I hope that this can help to open up the conversation about menstruation and women's health, so that the stigma around it can be reduced. I also hope that it can offer a place to reflect on and build a relationship towards the menstrual cycle that feels kind and more attuned.

What I'd love for you to keep in mind as you read is that every person's experience of menstruation is different and what may be normal for one person will not be for others. I hope you can take something from what I write, but know that the best knowledge of your menstrual cycle comes from YOU.

I'm drawing from a range of sources to build a picture of how I understand topics relating to menstruation and women's health. I will do my best to use accurate information in anything I share and will try to share references when they feel useful.

I will not be drawing on specific experiences of any clients I work with, and will gain consent where I can for any person's story I do share. I also welcome any feedback in anything that is outdated, as I know that things are regularly shifting and being discovered.
