About Counselling
Counselling sessions last 50 minutes and occur weekly. It will normally run on the same day, at the same time each week. Counselling can be short-term or long-term.
The sessions are a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings, where you can feel heard and held.

About me
From a history in help work, I have always had a passion for ensuring that people feel seen and supported. My interest in mental health started during the Covid-19 pandemic, when there was more time and space for self-reflection. The impact this time had on mental health showcased the importance of having space to talk through our thoughts and feelings.
Creating a safe environment where you can feel seen and heard is what I strive for in the counselling room. I offer a warm, empathetic and non-judgemental space where you can begin to explore the challenges you’re facing. Talking through your thoughts, feelings and experiences offers the opportunity to better understand and become yourself.
I am a trained humanistic integrative counsellor. Key theories that underpin my practice are Person-Centred, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt Therapy.
I use these theories in an integrative way to suit the individual needs of clients I work with, meaning that I will use tools and techniques that I believe suit your needs best. These tools can include using physical resources, such as pens and paper, seashells or cards, to grounding or breathing techniques.

As a lover of learning, I am regularly exploring the areas of interest I have. These areas not only help foster this love, but can help with clients experiencing issues within these areas.
Neurodiversity

The influence this can have on who you are, navigating everyday life in a neurotypical world and managing relationships.

The Menstrual Cycle
The cycle can create a range of changing experiences in relation to confidence, a sense of self and emotions.
As a twin myself, I'm understanding more about how this impacts identity, relating with others and emotional regulation.
